- Entrepreneurship: Led a faculty team through NC State's NSF iCorps program to needs assess locative narrative applications with area educators (2018); co-founded start-up company Locative Press Inc. through NC State's Office of Technology Commercialization and New Ventures (OTCNV) and Office of Research Commercialization (ORC) and collaborated with Durham design firm Pathos/Ethos on preliminary wireframe development for locative narrative app (2019-present)
